New Zealanders exploring the world in search of adventure, inspiration and purpose. Well at least it sounds good!
In June 2011 we left NZ, we quit our jobs, terminated our flat lease and sold everything in order for the ultimate in mind expansion! We left just family and friends behind, on a one way ticket to Europe via South East Asia.
Freshly married, we're off to see the big wide world. Life run by the book, ticking off 'milestones', doesn't exactly make sense to us... so we're writing our own rules! Like a boss.
Rick... fun loving, energetic extrovert; a trained Chef and Maitre de, Barista, Bar Manager, crazy Youth Pastor, truck driver and Photographer amongst other things.
Jaz... obsessed with all things fashion.

With zero income and limited savings, there's a few ways we're making this possible:
- Working Holiday Visa. We have 1 year residency in the Netherlands and we can work for some shiny euros.
- Exist as Location Independant Professionals, to live in different countries short term, on a freelance income.
- Volunteering; working without pay but getting food and accomodation for nil, ie WOOF and Help Exchange , we also had 2 weeks in Spain in 2011 with VaughanTown.
- Couch Surfing and staying with friends and family to meet new local people and save on accomm.
